For over nine years, I’ve had the joy of photographing newborns and families throughout San Francisco and the greater Bay Area. My goal is to make every session feel calm, natural, and personal while preserving the little details and genuine connections that make this season so meaningful.
Newborn days pass by so quickly, and I believe the most beautiful photographs come from simply being together. I’ll gently guide you through a relaxed, in-home experience, using natural light and your everyday surroundings to capture the cuddles, quiet moments, and connections that make your family uniquely yours.

Congratulations on your growing family. Those first few weeks with your baby are fleeting, filled with tiny details, quiet cuddles, sleepy stretches, and moments you’ll wish to hold onto forever. As a Bay Area newborn photographer, I specialize in refined, in-home lifestyle photography with soft natural light and meaningful spaces that become part of your story.
Sessions are thoughtfully timed for late morning, around 10:30–11 AM, when the light is best and babies are often more settled. The ideal time is within the first 6–20 days after birth, but I also welcome babies up to 3–4 months for an in-home session.

The Experience: What to Expect From Your Newborn Photography Session
Inquire & Book:
Fill out the contact form, and I’ll reach out within 24–48 hours with additional information and my upcoming availability. Once you’re ready to move forward, a retainer confirms your booking.
A Relaxed, Baby-Led Session:
When your session day arrives, we’ll take things at your baby’s pace. There’s plenty of time for feeding, soothing, diaper changes, and cuddles. I’ll offer gentle direction while allowing natural moments and connection to unfold.
Comfortable, In-Home Photography:
Your home doesn’t need to be perfect or magazine-ready. I’ll work with the light and spaces you have, focusing on the moments between you and your baby rather than creating a picture-perfect setup.
Your Planning Begins:
Once your session is booked, you’ll receive a contract, questionnaire, and welcome packet to help you prepare. You’ll also receive guidance on styling and getting ready for your newborn session.
Your Finished Gallery:
Within two weeks, you’ll receive your professionally edited photographs in an online gallery available for 30 days. You’ll also have the option to purchase prints, albums, and other products.

The ideal time is between 6–20 days after your baby is born. However, I welcome babies up to 3–4 months for in-home sessions. These sessions are baby-led, so slightly older newborns can still be wonderful for this relaxed style of photography.

Your home doesn’t need to be picture-perfect. I’m comfortable working with low-light spaces and can create beautiful images with just one good window.
These sessions are about connection, not perfection. The goal is to capture the love between you and your baby while working with the space you have.
I recommend booking 2–3 months in advance to secure a spot on my calendar. If you feel like you’re late to book, don’t hesitate to reach out. If I have availability, I’ll always do my best to fit you in.
Once your session is officially booked, you’ll receive a detailed preparation guide covering what to wear, what to dress your baby in, and how to prepare your home, toddlers, and pets. I’ll guide you through the process so your outfits complement the warm, timeless look of your photographs.
