How it Works
Share a few details about your family and what you envision. I personally respond to every inquiry within one business day.
A retainer secures your date. From there, you’ll receive a welcome guide, styling direction, and my full attention as we plan every detail together.
Relaxed, unhurried, and entirely guided – no experience in front of the camera needed. Your finished gallery arrives within 2–4 weeks, with heirloom prints and albums available.

GOT QUESTIONS?
How far in advance should I book?
My calendar is intentionally limited so that every family receives my full attention. Most clients reserve 2–3 months ahead; for newborn sessions, reaching out in your second trimester allows us to plan gracefully around your due date. If your timeline is shorter, please reach out – I hold a small number of dates for last-minute arrangements and will always do my best to accommodate you.
What’s included in every session?
Everything. Each session is fully all-inclusive: 50+ high-resolution edited images, a complete print release, personal styling direction, and curated location recommendations. There are never surprise fees. Travel beyond San Francisco is arranged individually, and expedited delivery is available should you need your gallery sooner.
Do you offer styling?
Yes – thoughtful styling is part of every session. You’ll receive detailed direction tailored to your family, your location, and the look you’re drawn to, and I work closely with you to ensure everyone’s wardrobe feels cohesive and effortless. If you work with a personal stylist, I’m happy to coordinate with them directly.
When will I receive my photos?
Newborn galleries are delivered within two weeks; maternity and family galleries within four. If you’re working toward an announcement, a holiday card, press release, or another deadline, expedited delivery is available.
Do you offer location recommendations?
Of course. Upon booking you’ll receive a curated guide to 20+ of my favorite Bay Area locations – from iconic settings to quiet, tucked-away spots ideal for families who prefer complete privacy. In-home sessions are always available as well.
Can our images be kept private?
Discretion is foundational to how I work. Every gallery is private and password-protected, and for families who require complete confidentiality, I offer a Private Client arrangement – your images are never published, shared, or used in my portfolio or marketing, with an NDA available upon request. Details are shared during booking.
What is your reschedule policy?
I understand that life with little ones and busy schedules can be unpredictable. Each session includes one complimentary reschedule with 14 days’ notice, and in the event of a medical emergency or the early arrival of your baby, we’ll simply find a new date together. Additional date changes can be arranged for a modest fee. Full details are outlined in your booking agreement.
Can we select our final images?
Every gallery is personally curated with an artist’s eye, so you receive only the best, most meaningful images – thoughtfully curated and cohesive. If there’s a moment that matters to you – a must-have sibling portrait, a family heirloom, a particular detail – share it with me beforehand and I’ll make it a priority.
When is the best time for outdoor photos?
Light is everything. I photograph in the soft light of early morning or in the golden hour before sunset, when everything glows. Once you book, I’ll guide you to the ideal timing and setting for the look you envision.
What is lifestyle photography?
An artful blend of gentle direction and genuine moments. We’ll begin with a few classic portraits, then I’ll guide you through natural, relaxed interactions.
What if the weather turns on our session day?
Leave it to me. I monitor conditions closely in the days before your session, and if the forecast calls for a change of plans, I’ll come to you with beautiful alternatives already arranged. (Bay Area fog, for what it’s worth, photographs like a dream.)
Can we bring our dog to the session?
Please do. Pets are family, and I love including them. Just let me know in advance so I can select a location where they’ll be as comfortable as you are.
