How it Works
Fill out a contact form. You will receive an email from me within 24-48 hours with all additional information along with my upcoming availability.
Pay a retainer and confirm booking. You will then receive a contract, questionnaire and welcome packet to begin planning for your session.
Session date is here and we will have the best time ever! In 2-4 weeks, you will receive your photos in a online gallery available for 30 days with the option to purchase prints, albums and other products.

How far in advance should I book?
My calendar fills up fast—especially during the busy fall and spring seasons—so I recommend booking 2-3 months in advance to secure your ideal date. For newborn sessions, reaching out during your second trimester is ideal so we can plan around your due date. That said, I often take last-minute bookings when I can, so don’t hesitate to reach out—even if you’re cutting it close! I’ll always try my best to accommodate you.
What is your pricing structure?
Great news—my sessions are all-inclusive! That means no surprise fees for additional photos later. You’ll receive 75+ fully edited, high-res images in a downloadable gallery (live for 30 days), with no extra fees for photos. A travel fee applies only for locations 15+ miles from 94105 area code. Optional add-ons like expedited delivery or headshots are also available.
Do you offer styling?
Your outfit choices can truly elevate your session, and I provide detailed styling tips to help you plan with confidence. While I don’t offer a client wardrobe, this allows you to invest in pieces you love and keep outfits that reflect your style. I also work closely with you to coordinate looks that complement each other beautifully, ensuring your entire family looks cohesive and stylish.
How long does it take to receive the photos?
The turnaround time is 2 weeks for newborn sessions and 4 weeks for maternity and family sessions. An expedited 1.5 week turnaround time can be added on for maternity and family sesisons for $200.
Do you offer location recommendations?
There are many stunning locations in and around San Francisco that I can recommend! Once you book, you’ll receive a welcome packet with a curated list of 20+ Bay Area locations to match your style and convenience.
Can our images be kept private?
The photographer retains all image rights, but you have the option to purchase full copyrights for a $200 fee. As photographers, we rely on images for marketing, and this fee helps offset alternative marketing costs. Your privacy remains my top priority.
What is your reschedule policy?
Life happens—especially with little ones—and I completely understand. I allow one reschedule per session. If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 14 days’ notice, so I have time to fill your original spot. If a last-minute medical emergency comes up, I kindly ask for a doctor’s note in order to reschedule. Please note: after one reschedule, a rescheduling fee may apply, and no-shows will result in a forfeited deposit. My calendar is limited, and each session slot is carefully reserved—thank you for respecting my time and business.
Can we select our final images?
I carefully handpick the final images from your session using my artistic eye and experience to ensure you receive the most beautiful, meaningful moments. Each photo is thoughtfully edited to reflect my style and storytelling approach. If you have a specific shot in mind (like a must-have sibling photo or a detail you’d love captured), just let me know before the session so I can do my best to include it!
When is the best time for outdoor photos?
I don’t photograph during midday due to the harsh lighting it creates. Instead, I recommend early morning sessions in wooded areas where the light is soft and diffused—or golden hour sessions taken an hour before sunset (20+ locations to choose from), when the light is warm and dreamy. Once you book, I’ll guide you through choosing the best timing and location for your session.
What is lifestyle photography?
Lifestyle photography captures real-life moments with an artistic touch. While I’ll start with a few posed shots, most of your session will be naturally guided, relaxed, and fun.
What if the weather looks bad on our session day?
I keep a close eye on the forecast leading up to your session. If it looks like rain or extreme weather (and we’re shooting outdoors), I’ll reach out to discuss backup options. Fog is very common in the Bay Area and isn’t a reason for rescheduling—but I have beautiful alternative locations ready just in case!
Can we bring our dog to the session?
Absolutely! I’m a dog mom myself, and I love when pets are part of the session. If your furry friend is part of your family, they’re more than welcome. Just let me know in advance so I can suggest pet-friendly locations and tips for a smooth shoot.
