Maternity Portfolio
Bay Area Maternity Photography
Welcome to the beautiful journey of motherhood. Pregnancy is a remarkable chapter—filled with anticipation, transformation, and an overwhelming sense of love. My goal is to walk this path with you and capture this incredible phase of your life through my lens, in a way that feels natural, emotional, and uniquely yours.
With over 7 years of experience as a San Francisco maternity photographer, I’ve had the honor of photographing hundreds of expecting mothers throughout the Bay Area. Whether you’re a first-time parent or growing your crew, I’m here to preserve the love, excitement, and story behind your bump.
Portraits That Last a Lifetime
Portraits are an investment—one you’ll treasure forever. They become tangible memories displayed on your walls, tucked into albums, and passed down through generations. As a Bay Area maternity photographer, my goal is to create images that feel honest, emotional, and timeless. My style is modern, natural, and documentary, focused on capturing the beauty of this season just as it is. We’ll do some lightly posed portraits, but the majority of your maternity photoshoot will be centered around connection—whether that’s between you and your partner, your children, your pets, or simply the bond with your baby.
Yes, maternity sessions can absolutely include your spouse, children, and even your pets. This is your story, and I want to honor every part of it.
When to Schedule Your Maternity Shoot
The best time to schedule your maternity shoot photography session is between 30–35 weeks of pregnancy, when your belly has blossomed but you’re still feeling comfortable.
You have options:
- On-location outdoor sessions: Held in the morning (8AM–10AM) or during golden hour (about an hour before sunset), these are perfect for dreamy, natural light.
- In-home maternity sessions: Cozy and relaxed, these sessions take place in your personal space and are ideal for intimate storytelling, especially if you’re including young children or pets.

The Bump to Baby Package – A Client Favorite
Along with classic maternity sessions, I offer the Bump to Baby package, which includes both your pregnancy maternity shoot and an in-home newborn session once your little one arrives. This is by far my most popular package, as it allows you to document two life-changing milestones with one cohesive vision and a photographer who already understands your story.

GOT Questions?
When should I schedule my maternity photoshoot?
The best time for a maternity session is between 30–35 weeks—when your belly has a beautiful round shape but you still feel relatively comfortable. I recommend booking 3 months in advance to secure your spot, especially during peak seasons like fall. That said, I’ll always try my best to accommodate last-minute inquiries whenever possible.
I’m not feeling my best—should I still do a maternity session?
Absolutely. It’s so normal to feel unsure during this season, but trust me—maternity photos are often the images that mean the most later. I can’t tell you how many mothers have shared their regret about skipping a session with their firstborn. If you’re on the fence, consider this your sign: this is a moment worth capturing. I’ll gently guide you throughout the session so you feel confident, radiant, and comfortable.
Can I include my partner, children, or pets in the shoot?
Yes! Whether this is your first baby or your fifth, your session can be a beautiful celebration of your entire growing family. Many of my clients choose to include their partner, older children, or even pets—creating heartfelt maternity family photos that reflect this fleeting season of life.
Do you offer both outdoor and in-home maternity sessions?
Yes—I offer both! Most maternity sessions take place in outdoor settings throughout the Bay Area, including breathtaking golden fields and quiet natural landscapes. For those located in Napa, Sonoma, or Solano Counties, I also offer in-home maternity sessions—perfect for cozy, intimate portraits in the comfort of your own space.
What should I wear for my maternity photoshoot?
Once you book, I’ll send you a personalized prep guide with wardrobe suggestions and styling tips to help you feel your absolute best. Think soft textures, flowing fabrics, and anything that highlights your bump in a flattering and timeless way. I’m here to guide you through every detail so you walk into your session feeling ready and relaxed.
How do I know you’re the right maternity photographer for me?
Maternity sessions are especially close to my heart because they’re often the beginning of a long-term relationship—I’ve had the joy of documenting many families year after year, starting from this very moment. If you’re searching for a Bay Area maternity photographer who will take the time to understand your story, put you at ease, and capture more than just images—moments that truly reflect your journey—then I’d be honored to work with you.
