Amaya’s Newborn Photography Session

Here’s a peak into a Amaya’s session! Amaya was a little over a week old during her newborn session. It was truly a pleasure to photograph her and to get to know her family! Katrina and Jonathan were extremely welcoming and I could just tell how in love they are with the newest addition to their family! When I first showed up for Amaya’s newborn photography session, I was welcomed at the door by Tallulah and Averie. Tallulah is Katrina and Jonathan’s dog and Averie is their firstborn.

Amaya is showered by so much love around her! Her older sister Averie gave the sweetest kisses, and Tallulah did too! Tallula was on her best behavior. Dogs in general are known to be extremely loyal and protective. Lu was nothing short of that. She snuggled up right next to the baby, and left me to photograph some really precious moments.

Amaya was completely content in Katrina and Jonathan’s arms – it was beautiful being able to capture their new bond. It’s sessions like these that remind me why I love my job as much as I do!
